The variety of fluoride we use in our practice is applied in a professional strength, straight on to the teeth and exposed roots. This adds an additional layer of fortification to the teeth against cavities, which are still prevalent in the general population, especially among children and adolescents.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This added defense against decay is applied quickly, safely, and pain-free, following a patient\u2019s professional cleaning. It may come in the form of a gel, foam or varnish. Only a small amount is used, and very little is swallowed directly. We will provide guidance as to how long each patient must wait after treatment to eat, drink, brush and floss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
